Overview

Lutron is seeking a highly meticulous and self-motivated individual to join our Trade Compliance team located at Lutron's Annex office location in Center Valley, PA. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to international import and export regulations through comprehensive audits and collaborative engagement with internal stakeholders and external partners including Lutron shipping and logistics teams, engineering, freight forwarders, and customs brokers on all trade-related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze, and prepare data and supporting documentation for U.S. Customs’ Reconciliation Program
  • Conduct detailed audits of import activities across the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and Canada
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and focus on process compliance through coordinating with Customs brokers to ensure accuracy of import/export documentation
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure full compliance with applicable trade regulations
  • Generate and maintain Statements of Origin
  • Complete Free Trade Agreement qualifications and distribute to customs brokers
  • Perform routine audits of export processes and systems
  • Execute Restricted Party Screening to ensure compliance with all US export compliance regulations


Qualifications



  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, High School diploma required
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in trade, audit, accounting, or comparable field preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office required, particularly Excel
