POSITION SUMMARY

Full time position to support job site equipment by fueling and servicing machines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform fueling and greasing in a safe and efficient manner
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions or failures
  • Perform assigned task in a timely, accurate and efficient mannger
  • Keep detailed records of equipment conditions (hour meters, overall condition, etc)
  • Communicate larger equipment issues with shop and facilitate the repair
  • prepare required documentation accurately and timely, including work orders, fuel reports, and hour meter/odometer reports
  • General upkeep and organization of workspaces (i.e.; fueling vehicle, shop space, etc)
  • Other duties may be assigned by the Shop Manager or the General Manager

Position Requirements
  • Minimal amount of hand tools may be required
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence in clear and concise language
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
  • Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Possess the ability to work on an individual basis and solve minor problems without supervision

  • Maintain satisfactory attendance
  • Present with cleanliness, punctuality, and a pleasant attitude
  • Maintain health, a safe working environment and observe all safety laws, policies, and rules

  • Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
  • Be quality and production oriented
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Possess a valid current Driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years in a fueling/mechanic capacity preferred
  • CDL license
  • Haz-Mat endorsement
  • Tanker endorsement
