Description:

QBE is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Training Coordinator II (Journeyman) to join our team in Doral, FL.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Training Coordinator II provides comprehensive support to training operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of training programs
  • They coordinate training events, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with participants and Trainers, ensuring a positive and organized training experience
  • They maintain accurate training records, including attendance, assessments, and certifications, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • They assist Trainers in preparing training materials and resources, ensuring that content is up to date, relevant, and engaging
  • They provide support to trainees, answering questions, addressing concerns, and facilitating a positive learning environment
  • They also monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, gathering feedback from participants and Trainers, and making recommendations for improvements to enhance learning outcomes
  • They collaborate with subject matter experts and Instructional Designers to develop and update training content, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices
  • They may also assist in the implementation of Learning Management Systems and other training technologies, contributing to the modernization and efficiency of training operations
  • The Training Coordinator II receives guidance and direction from more senior staff

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in field necessary to assume Training Coordinator II duties and a minimum of 4 years of relevant Training Coordinator II experience.
  • High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
  • A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education.
  • Two years of position-specific relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field. Experience in coordinating and scheduling training events, including managing logistics (venue, materials, equipment). Ability to maintain accurate training records and databases. Familiarity with different training delivery methods (classroom, online, blended). Proficiency in handling administrative tasks related to training, such as registration, communication with participants, and material distribution. Experience in managing training budgets and resources. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other training platforms.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Four years of position-specific relevant experience. Master's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field. Basic understanding of instructional design principles. Experience in developing training materials or e-learning modules. Ability to analyze training data and generate reports on training effectiveness. Experience with survey tools and data analysis techniques. Knowledge of training evaluation methods and best practices. Experience in conducting training needs assessments. Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM). Association for Talent Development (ATD) certifications.
  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be eligible for or have a current/active Secret Eligible clearance.
