Job/Position Summary
Fathom Manufacturing is seeking a results-driven Commercial Account Manager to drive customer growth, margin expansion, and cross-site selling within the greater Chicagoland manufacturing ecosystem. This role is embedded at our Elk Grove Village facility — one of the most strategically positioned manufacturing hubs in the country — and is responsible for expanding our customer footprint within a 100-mile radius.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a commercial professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands how to unlock growth at the site level, and wants to play a direct role in shaping the future of a key facility within a leading national advanced manufacturing network.
Primary Responsibilities
This is not a traditional account management role. This is a commercial ownership opportunity — with the tools, autonomy, and support to grow a manufacturing facility’s customer base and financial performance. You’ll be the face of the Elk Grove site to the local market and a critical driver of its success.
Top performers in this role have a clear path toward senior commercial leadership, including site leadership and expanded strategic responsibilities.
What we offer:
Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage. Company paid for Life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance.
Additional Benefits: Paid time off, Floating Holidays, Volunteer time off, and sick time off (depending on state of employment). 401k Plan
Employee Perks: Discounts on products and services and a pretty cool boss.
