The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist Lead Property Book Officer (PBO) with property accountability actions that include maintaining asset visibility; data cleanup, update Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) and equipment transfers.Â
- Attend training/meetings, conduct briefings, and workshops pertaining to property accountability.
- Assist with annual, installation, change of command and special inventories, and prepare/submit report with the findings.
- Reconciling hand receipts, cataloging property, maintaining property book records, managing inventories, lateral transfers, and the management of excess property.Â
- Develop, analyze, and validate/recommend sustainment elements and supportability requirements for acquisition effort.Â
- Conduct property accountability oversight of Government Furnished Property/Material (GFP/GFM) in possession of contractors with DCMA.Â
Conduct logistical analyses to identify, define, and document Acquistion program integrated product support requirements.
- Interface and coordinate supportability efforts to facilitate and resolve complex logistical issues.Â
- Provide input to Existence & Completeness (E&C) Audit Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in conjunction with PBO and updates.Â
- Assist with physical inventory and preform corrective action to identified deficiencies found during reconciliation.Â
- Provide assistance at the JPM level in tracking and interpreting changes in ASA/ALT policies and regulations associated with property book and audit procedures.
- Provide advisory assistance to programmatic personnel in the requirements and procedures for loading information int the JPEO CBRND Material Fielding Tracking Tool (MFTT).
- Comprehensive experience performing logistics analysis and integrated product support, acquisition streamlining, defining and tracking supportability requirements, system integration
- Skilled in development, maintenance, review, and staffing of program/acquisition documents; logistics plans, schedules, strategies, and reports; and action papers, studies and policies
- Experience identifying, monitoring, managing, and mitigating risks and issues
- Demonstrated experience conducting Joint Independent Logistics Assessments (JILA) and analysis related to reliability and maintainability, maintenance, and quality
- Experience coordinating, participating in, and providing input to Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, milestone decisions, in-process/design reviews, and other program events
- Skilled in the review and comment of contract deliverables from the materiel developer
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree & 7-9 Years of Experience
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certification in Lifecycle Logistics desired
- Comprehensive understanding of DoD acquisition logistics/lifecycle management from design and development through testing, procurement, fielding/deployment, and sustainment; including DoD Instruction 5000.02 and logistics regulation, policy, and best practices
- Working knowledge of the JACKS – CBRN Information Resource Center (CBRN IRC)
- Ability to manage, prioritize, track, and report on multiple complex and cross functional projects simultaneously; recommending corrective actions to address issues and failures
- Effective stakeholder collaboration and communication, verbally and in writing
- Efficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office, tasker management, document handling/classification
- Decision Support Tool (DST)
- Web Federal Logistics Information System (WEBFLIS)
- Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)
- Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
- Secret Clearance
- Prior CBRN and Fire Fighting experience desired
