We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Risk Management team as a Risk Management Coordinator! The Risk Management Coordinator II is responsible for ensuring compliance with insurance coverage requirements, analyzing reports, and managing workers' compensation and physical damage billing records. This role includes maintaining accurate system data and providing exceptional customer support for billing and insurance coverage inquiries. With a focus on accuracy and proactive communication, the position supports the organization’s risk management and insurance operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Agents and PVOs maintain compliance with established insurance coverage requirements by conducting regular reviews and verifications.
  • Analyze standard and moderately complex insurance reports to identify discrepancies or determine the need for further investigation.
  • Manage and maintain billing records for workers’ compensation and physical damage coverage, adding and deleting insurance coverage and driver equipment, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to organizational policies.
  • Maintain and update multiple processing systems with accurate and current data to support operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing guidance on claims processes, resolving minor issues and responding promptly to Agent and PVO inquiries.
  • Perform essential data management tasks, including completing required forms, generating correspondence, and maintaining accurate electronic records.
  • Handle inbound and outbound communications regarding claims, inquiries, and insurance updates, ensuring professional and timely responses.

Qualifications



What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related field is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in insurance, risk management, or a related customer service role, or equivalent combination of both education and experience are required.
  • Prior experience with claims handling, billing systems, and compliance processes is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using insurance-related software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Understanding of insurance principles and familiarity with risk management practices is a plus.
