National Customer Manager - Military veterans preferred

Overall Role Purpose:

• Plan and co-ordinate national sales activities related to Logistics Service Providers to retain and develop sustaining sales revenue

• Manage a defined portfolio of Logistics Service Providers with in a defined geographical area level

Accountabilities:

• • Display strong skills in customer business understanding to ensure that customer requirements are being fulfilled.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to promote DHL Advantage programs and solutions to the assigned list of accounts.
  • Formulate a Customer development plan that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business prospects and maximizes growth within the existing client base so that the required personal sales results are achieved.
  • Implement GSP platform tools to ensure sales discipline.
  • Ensure all customer agreements are adhered with Compliance Customer Guideline.
  • Develop a working relationship with the relevant support sections across cross functional level to ensure they are kept up to date with all issues relating to the National Customers Accounts and being provided on time.

People Management:

• • Incumbent has no direct reports and authority over country line and functional personnel. Nevertheless he/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions through provision of value-added inputs into the organization’s business processes.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Functional Experience:
  • 4 years’ relevant sales experience, preferably in service industry with solid experience in customer acquisition and account management. Experience on managing Sales Partners/Resellers would be an added advantage.

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related disciplines from a reputed university.

• Other Qualifications:
  • Incumbent must have positive mindset to accept challenge and turn situation into opportunity.
