Important Note About This Position

This is a contingent position, meaning employment is dependent upon the successful award of the associated contract to Aretum and completion of any required background investigation or security clearance verification.

Job Summary

As a Senior Financial Analyst at ARETUM, you will work closely with various departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and analyses that support decision-making and ensure financial integrity within our projects.

Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. Additionally, all team members may be called upon to support proposal efforts as needed. This could include resume formatting, providing skills alignment summaries, participating in meetings, or contributing to solutioning activities based on subject matter expertise or functional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of budget analysts work products and reporting.
  • Supervise preparation and routing of funding documents for government approval and submission.
  • Supervise the develop and process Reimbursable Work Authorizations (RWAs) through the ICE Program Centralized Funding or ICE Owned Portfolio construction budgets.
  • Supervise the develop of project approval packages and other necessary documents, secure approvals, track financial packages, and notify ICE Project Managers of status.
  • Supervise the preparation of obligation documents, tracks and coordinates financial obligations.
  • Supervise the verification and validation of specific payables.

Requirements

    • Five (5) years of experience managing financial obligations and commitments concerning programs/projects similar to the areas identified for this role, real property financial management in the federal government.
    • Seven (7) years of supervisory experience.
    • Experience in assisting government agencies in the subject area of audits
    • Familiarity with budget and finance function related to real property management in the federal government.
    • Expertise in business process improvement related to infrastructure and construction within the federal government.
    • Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in the field of either civil engineering, architecture, or business or a MBA (Master of Business Administration).
    • Possess a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or Architectural Registration (license).

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    • This is a hybrid position, with work performed both remotely and at client or corporate office locations as needed. The employee is expected to maintain a professional remote work environment with reliable internet access and the ability to participate in virtual meetings. Onsite work may involve a traditional office setting with standard office equipment and moderate noise levels. Travel to client or corporate locations will be communicated in advance.

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computer equipment and communicate via phone or video.
    • Ability to move about office spaces and attend in-person meetings when onsite.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Travel Requirement

  • This is a hybrid position, with work performed both remotely and at designated client or corporate locations, as needed. Travel requirements may vary depending on project assignments, client meetings, or internal collaboration and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
