Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm (with a level of flexibility)
Location: Hatfield - AL10 8XF

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to play a vital role providing administrative support to the management team in our transport department.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

• Aid Transport Controllers in directing and controlling resources in the area to meet defined targets
• Ensure NDC and full line are serviced efficiently
• Manage front desk - brief & de brief drivers runs - Tachomaster Download escalate issues to shift controller
• Issue drivers with trip sheet, OPS13, Unit, Update flight board, update microlise
• Monitoring and managing timed store deliveries and trunks highlighting issues to the Transport Controller.
• Ensure all required vehicles are available throughout the day.
• Maintain service schedules ensuring that all O license commitments are met.
• Action any reported defects immediately.
• Maintain a presence throughout the area of responsibility, leading by example and ensuring fairness at all times.
• Be fully conversant with all company rules, regs, procedures, processes and policies.
• Report any infringements.
• Support payroll on Monday, and holiday cover
