Import LCL Operator – Overseas transport of beer, wine, spirits, and related products
Within our Import Team in Rotterdam you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
· Optimizing our own “beverage only” consolidation service.
· Providing high-quality service to customers through the existing Hillebrand Gori network.
· Being responsible for your own customers/cargo flows, from order processing to invoicing. You will manage the entire logistics chain from A to Z.
· Meeting customer needs, improving the customer relationship, and understanding their business to make a positive contribution to the results of both the customer and Hillebrand Gori.
· Working closely with the Sales department, the Hillebrand Gori offices in the country of origin/destination of the orders, as well as the service providers Hillebrand Gori collaborates with.
· Monitoring orders, including customs formalities and warehouse handling related to delivering orders to our customers.
What do we ask of you?
You are often the first point of contact for the customer and hold a central position within the organization. Good communication skills are required for this, as well as a proactive and positive attitude.
· Challenges and changes excite you, and you contribute positively to them.
· Several years of experience in the logistics sector, preferably in a Customer Service environment and/or experience with consolidation logistics.
· Basic knowledge of customs formalities/excise duties is a plus. In case not? No worries, we can train you to the right level.
· You work efficiently and, as an effective LCL Operator, you proactively and timely follow up on customer requests.
· Genuine team spirit; you enjoy being part of a well-functioning team that always goes the extra mile.
· Good command of the English language, as well as knowledge of MS programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· You make use of common sense and last but not least, you’re ready to contribute to accelerating growth at THE powerhouse of Beer, Wine and Spirits Logistics!
