Oversee and execute the primary administrative responsibilities within the OneStream application which encompass maintaining entity hierarchies, configuring rules, orchestrating workflows, designing dashboards, and developing reporting views and packages. This role ensures the successful utilization and adoption of the OneStream application by providing technical support within the application, including the design, test and implementation of enhancements. This role will also support user adoption and training for the global finance team. Additionally, this role will drive process improvements in areas such as month-end closing, reporting, and planning activities by leveraging OneStream technology and adopting OneStream best practice. This role will report to the Director, SEC Reporting & Consolidation.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer OneStream security, including governance of metadata, user access, dimension hierarchies, data translations, chart of accounts, and reporting
• Evaluate and build logical views, reporting structures, dashboards and cube views in OneStream
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and build using OneStream platform tools
• Support integrations and data quality processes (validations, mapping, workflows, transformations) from various source systems in OneStream
• Manage relationships with IT and serve as an advocate for OneStream users, liaise with OneStream customer support
• Train and mentor functional team members in gaining expertise on OneStream tools/technologies
• Ensure internal control governances (including SOX requirements), including coordination with internal and external auditors as it relates to system access and change management
• Evaluate and execute OneStream platform upgrades and communicate impacts, create test plans and perform functional testing within OneStream
• Lead process improvements to enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities within the company
• Lead the change management process to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes by the finance teams
• Collaborate with various stakeholders within finance and outside of finance to ensure alignment and support for transformation initiatives
• Champion process automation and data integrity to drive informed decision making, accuracy and efficiency
• CoE for expertise and best practice areas
• Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
• Build and maintain robust process documentation
• Manage ad-hoc business requests for data extract and analysis
• Execute other projects as assigned
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
• Strong understanding of financial processes, data structures, and system integrations
• Experience with OneStream platform administration, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining financial reports, dashboards, and cube views
• Experience with data validation, mapping, and transformation
• Strong background in accounting and finance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Knowledge of internal control governance, including SOX requirements
• Experience with user training and support
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial consolidation system administration, preferably OneStream
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met
