Description

We are looking for a capable Warehouse Associate with background in all warehouse aspects. This role supports our company’s operations in direct support of manufacturing, internal and external customers while performing various warehouse activities from pulling, picking, stocking, shipping, receiving, cycle counting and extensive transactions within our MRP system.

Responsibilities

  • Performing the receiving role, being responsible for ensuring boxes and pallet freight is received in good condition. Duties include verifying part numbers, manufacturing numbers, quantities, shelf life, serial numbers and required documentation is in place prior to entering into MRP system.
  • Working closely with purchasing on supplier issues.
  • Usage of barcode scanner.
  • Identify and create labels for all inventory items.
  • Perform warehouse duties, kit pulling, put-away stock, cycle counts as required.
  • Pull, pack, prepare pallets / crates / boxes for outgoing shipments.
  • Process UPS, FEDEX or common LTL freight shipments performing outbound activities in support of Production Operations for both domestic and international shipments/customers.
  • Perform necessary transactions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team to prioritize critical tasks to ensure customer fulfillment.
  • Perform general housekeeping to ensure all work areas are clean.
  • Material Orders - gather and confirm materials required for assemblers to build orders at their benches.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Organize and document all shipping documents in accordance with file management guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years warehouse experience with high school diploma.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • 3+ years of forklift experience and/or ability to drive a forklift with proper training/certification. 
  • Experience with computers and stock management systems (Costpoint experience is beneficial, but not required).  Microsoft Excel experience a must.
  • Possess a strong teamwork mindset.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact, communicate and follow instruction.
  • Cross Functional Working - Ability to multi-task and communicate with internal/external customers to ensure tasks are successfully completed.
  • Demonstrate ability to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demands.
  • Demonstrate accuracy with general math skills.
  • Detailed/results oriented.
  • Effective time management. Potential to change hours to suit department requirements.
  • Ensure all Company equipment and personal PPE are correctly used and maintained.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience.
  • Forklift License.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $34,450.00 - $62,275.00
