Job Summary
The College of Nursing is seeking a driven and experienced Director of HR and Faculty Resources to lead and manage all aspects of faculty and staff human resources operations. This key leadership role oversees the faculty life cycle—including appointment, promotion, tenure, performance reviews, and compliance—while also administering HR life-cycle functions for college staff.
The Director is responsible for coordinating complex processes such as faculty hiring, annual and tenure reviews, onboarding, and reappointments. They serve as the main liaison for faculty and staff personnel actions, ensuring compliance with University, Provost, and accreditation (SACS-COC) policies. The role also manages performance evaluations, guides departmental leadership on HR policy, and supports faculty and staff development and mentoring programs.
This position plays a critical role in supporting college leadership through data reporting, policy development, and communication of HR regulations and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a deep understanding of academic personnel systems, and a commitment to supporting faculty and staff excellence.
