Physical Requirements
This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Also involves some risk of back injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; and exposure to blood-borne or airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, burns, and combative/violent people.
Shift
Primarily dayshifts Monday thru Friday but may vary depending on services to be provided. May include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Hours, days of week, and location subject to change based on needs of the department.
Job Summary
The Amb/Retail Pharmacist Manager/UKHC will develop, plan and support the coordination of immunization, point of care testing programs, board approved protocols, and other services provided by the pharmacy teams. In this position, the candidate will ensure compliance with laws, polices, and procedures in regard to clinical practices involving pharmacy with services provided relating to clinical support of immunization, point of care testing, and other board approved protocols as determined. This position will also collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team providing immunizations and clinical diagnostic services to patients following approved protocols. This service will provide greater access to care for patients and support pharmacy services while the candidate will also serve as a pharmacist role model to provide oversight, to educate and train staff to ensure all staff members are compliant and up to date on protocols, policies, and procedures. The Amb/Retail Pharmacist Manager position will work with retail leadership to develop, plan, coordinate, and support the services.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Strong clinical and organization skills, project management, leadership, knowledge of board approved protocols, training in multiple disease states with ACPE accreditation, teamwork, knowledge of laws and policies/procedures.

Previous leadership and project management experience, knowledge and training with board approved protocols, immunization and point of care testing is preferred.
