Overview

The Inventory Control Coordinator will reconcile daily production materials usage against inventory, cycle count inventory, make JDE inventory moves, organize inventory for ‘first-in / first-out” usage and perform other materials related tasks



Responsibilities

Inventory Transfers and Work Order Processing

  • Inventory Transfers in JDE for accurate daily control
  • Review and Reconcile issues versus scans daily
  • Ensure Orders are complete and processed in a timely manner for Daily and Month End reporting

Inventory Control

  • Reconcile JDE Raw Materials inventory nightly based on the materials used during the previous days production
  • Reconcile JDE Finished Goods inventory nightly based on the previous day production and CARDEX and Line Manifest
  • Request and print inventory reports as needed
  • Perform inventory counts, per instructions
  • Reconcile counts against inventory reports
  • Execute system movements for all items moved on a daily basis
  • Accurate and timely completion and processing of paperwork and data input to support inventory transactions
  • Monitor Non-Conforming and Out-of-date Materials counts and locations
  • Ability to complete appropriate paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. (Including Cycle Count Reports, Pick List generation, Spread Sheets, IA’s, etc.)
  • Ensure filing is completed daily

Warehousing

  • Understand and operate appropriate computer systems in JDE
  • Follow FIFO guidelines in storage of product
  • Physically destroy or quarantine on-hold or out-of-date raw materials, as instructed
  • Create accurate pallet tickets as needed for raw materials and packaging
  • Reconcile Work Orders within JDE as needed
  • Accurately update prepared reports and spreadsheets
  • Certified to operate forklift and other material handling equipment

Sanitation/Safety

  • Understands and follows all sanitation and safety guidelines
  • Performs general housekeeping in work areas as needed or assigned
  • Conducts forklift inspections prior to use
  • Conduct safety audits and suggest corrective actions when requested

Leadership

  • Maintains documentation outlining how each aspect of job is performed
  • Identify material requirements for production. Prepare daily Pick Lists
  • Identify processes / procedures that are not being followed and notify Logistics Manager
  • Work with appropriate parties as directed to correct or improve processes/procedures
  • Act as point person for materials issues at production start-up

  • Use proper lifting techniques
  • Use personal assistance (buddy)
  • Use handrails
  • Use and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Use mechanical assistance (handjack, forklift, manlift)
  • Use personal assistance (buddy)
  • Use handrails
  • Use and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees. Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company. Need to comply with Food Safety: GMP’S, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF, and Quality requirements.



Qualifications

  • Prefer High school diploma or GED
  • Maintain forklift certification
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, JDE knowledge a plus
  • Ability to work in production/warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
