Position Summary:

The Analyst, Corporate Development and Strategy will be a key contributor to CAQH’s long-term planning and business development efforts. This position will focus on financial modeling, forecasting, and market sizing to support strategic initiatives and evaluate new opportunities. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, an aptitude for corporate finance, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

This is a full-time, exempt position and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Base Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 annually.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Build dynamic financial models and long-range forecasts to evaluate strategic initiatives, new ventures, or potential partnerships.

 

  • Market Sizing & Research: Conduct market analysis and sizing to inform corporate development strategies and assess opportunity viability.

 

  • Strategic Opportunity Evaluation: Partner with stakeholders to evaluate business cases, assess ROI, and support go/no-go decisions for growth initiatives.

 

  • Corporate Development Support: Assist in identifying and analyzing potential acquisitions, investments, and partnerships.

 

  • Performance Tracking: Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure the success of strategic initiatives.

 

  • Presentation & Reporting: Prepare executive-level presentations summarizing key findings, financial projections, and strategic recommendations.

 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Product, and Strategy teams to align financial insights with organizational priorities.


Skills: 

  • Advanced Analytical Ability: Strong proficiency in Excel modeling and data analysis; able to synthesize complex financial data for business impact.
  • Strategic Thinking: Can assess the financial implications of market trends and business strategies.
  • Detail-Oriented Execution: Maintains accuracy while balancing multiple priorities and shifting timelines.
  • Communication: Capable of distilling and presenting financial insights clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Initiative and Ownership: Demonstrates autonomy in managing projects from analysis to presentation.

Experience:

  • 2+ years in investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance, corporate development, or a similar analytical role.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.
