Key responsibilities

As a Logistics Operator / Network Operator:

You will act as a vital link between DHL’s Lead Logistics Partner (LLP) 4PL solution, the customer’s logistics departments, and nominated carriers and suppliers. Your contribution will be key to ensuring transport flows are optimized, cost-effective, and executed with excellence.

• Manage day-to-day transport operations using our 4PL route planning tools, primarily focused on road transport

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including material and empty container flows

• Track and monitor shipment status, providing exception management and contingency support

• Act as the first point of contact for transport-related queries from carriers, suppliers, and internal teams

• Support the Freight Bill & Audit process

• Execute spot buy processes when expedited shipments are required by the customer

• Serve as Tier 1 support for transport management systems (OTM Superuser role)

• Train internal users on OTM and provide system-related assistance

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a transport or logistics environment

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team

• Advantage: Fluency in French or German (verbal and written)

• Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS), especially OTM, is a plus
