Election Personnel Recruitment Lead - Military veterans preferred

ATA Services, Inc. is currently seeking to hire an Election Personnel Recruitment Lead to work on a temporary assignment with the Bernalillo County Bureau of Elections for the 2025 Regular Local Election.

• Pay Rate: $19.80 per hour with weekly pay
• Start Date: IMMEDIATELY
• End Date: December 19, 2025
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., hours and days will be extended as needed
• Location: SE Albuquerque – Gibson and Broadway
• Requirements: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Must be able to work occasional weekend/evening hours.

Job Duties:

• Hiring the poll officials who will staff the election sites
• Tracking poll official information in a database
• Troubleshoot election personnel scheduling
• Schedule election personnel for in-person training
• Respond to election calls
• Support with communicating details of Human Resources onboarding
• Support setting up voting sites
• Support with preparing payroll files
• Support with collecting election materials
• Support with reviewing election materials for audits
• Coordinate lost & found from the election sites

Qualifications:

• Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to work various hours, including evenings, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Proven Recruitment and HR experience.
• 2+ years of administrative Assistant or Office Clerk experience.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Significant experience with office management and daily operations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Good practical experience with MS Office.
• Excellent knowledge of office equipment.
• Strong verbal skills, including communicating over the phone.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
