Position: Field Service Technician
Location: US - Remote

Hours of work: Mondays - Fridays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hrs/Wk - Full time position with overtime. Some weekend work required 

 

The Field Service Technician is the implementation of customer required on-site field services with guidance related to CCC activated carbon product, equipment, and service offerings. The Field Service Technician is part of CCC’s customer support and service value proposition by contractual obligation. This is an intermediate level Field Technician position. 

 
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to) 

  • Performing carbon exchanges at customer sites
  • Perform minor maintenance on Calgon Carbon equipment
  • Record keeping - Accurately complete project reports, expense reports and time sheets

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • Confined Space Certification (Candidate must successfully complete training within 3 month of hire data) is required
  • Driver's License (Class A preferrable) is preferred
  • HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification (Candidate must successfully complete training within 3 month of hire data) is required
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (Candidate must successfully obtain within 3 month of hire data) is required
  • 0-2 years' experience in a mechanical or hands-on industry is required
  • Automotive engine maintenance and repair is preferred
  • Industrial Vacuum Operation is preferred
  • Work at Industrial Facility is preferred
