The Electronics Assembler/Rework Tech is responsible for building and repairing circuit boards, power supplies and various other electronic components.   May perform tests and inspections of a wide variety of electronic components.

 

Requirements:

  • Adhering to a strict quality control program (NQA1)
  • Able to interoperate  BOMs, drawings and assembly notes
  • Soldering of thru-hole and surface mount components
  • Reworking thru-hole and surface mount components
  • Use basic hand tools such as crimpers, torque wrenches, tweezers, screwdrivers
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Being present, in the moment with a questioning attitude while being persistent with finding solutions
  • A positive attitude that is passionate about assembly and have commitment to producing high quality products
  • Additional duties and tasks assigned by management

Qualications:

  • High school diploma required
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in manufacturing (formal education and military experience accepted)
  • J-standard soldering certification and proficient in IPC-610 or equivalent competency (Military or other)
  • IPC 620 Wire harness certification or equivalent competency (Military or other)
  • IPC 7711/7721 Rework Modification and Repair certification or equivalent competency (Military or other)
  • Able to communicate eectively across all functions of the organization
  • A high attention to detail with good documentation skills, and able to write legibly
  • Procient in SMT soldering
  • Prociency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Has time management, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Procient in basic computer skills (le organization, email, etc.)
  • Procient math skills
  • Prociency in using the following equipment: solder/desolder tools, hand tools, crimpers, digital multi meter
