Essential Functions
These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions
- Assists departments and vendors on issues with registration and updating vendor profiles in the third-party onboarding platform, Payment Works.
- Reviews vendor data for completeness and accuracy as submitted by Payment Works and works with vendors on any identified discrepancies.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the vendor W-9 form and sanction reports.
- Validates banking information using GIACT to verify and authenticate bank accounts.
- Works with Payment Works personnel to finalize the Ellucian Connector project to fully automate the creation of vendors in Banner.
- Creates and maintains vendor “J" number profiles and updates existing vendor profiles in Banner.
- Verifies the completeness and accuracy of data.
- Uploads or inactivates obsolete vendors in Concur as needed.
- Maintains Banner 1099 information within the vendor maintenance set up screens and determines if 1099 coding is required at year end.
- Works with the Accounts Payable Manager on the yearend processing of 1099 tax forms, including reviewing reports for accuracy, address verification, and 1099 total values.
- Mails 1099 tax forms at year end.
- Works on special projects as assigned by Accounts Payable and Purchasing administration.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
- Related duties as required.
