General Description

We are seeking a talented and driven Financial Analyst to join our financial reports team. This role is primarily responsible for work related to the consolidation of financial statements, preparation of comprehensive managerial reports, and the preparation of financial reports to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”). The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrates exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for the consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities, including the preparation of journal entries and intercompany eliminations between affiliates.
  • Prepare timely and accurate managerial reports to support business decision-making.
  • Compile, analyze, and prepare financial statements and/or notes to be filed with the SEC in accordance with regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including accounting, audit, and lines of business teams, to gather, verify, and interpret financial information.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of financial consolidation and reporting tools.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work even during peak periods, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing. Participate in special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc analyses as assigned by management.

Education

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Master of Business Administration is a plus.

Experience

At least two years of related experience.

Experience in the banking industry is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)

  • Experience in the complete accounting cycle.
  • Bilingual proficiency (verbal and written) in English and Spanish.
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
  • Domain in the use of applications of MS: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness and availability to work extra hours, holidays, and weekends as business needs arise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work outputs.
  • Skills to adapt to change easily.
