Then we might be looking for you. We are looking for an inside sale to join our team in Tokyo, Japan.

 

Key Responsibilities

To assist sales activity internally

1.To encourage follow-up action after issuing quotation, to create and provide a list weekly with each salesperson regarding the status in “Quote Issued” and “Lack of Follow-up” through Salesforce.com (SFDC).

2.To encourage relationship-building/-maintenance, to extract the count of sales visit from SFDC, which is on the week and the next week by each salesperson, and then to provide the list with sales team weekly.

3.As one of the marketing activities, to file the article of fresh information from liquor business journal which has been checked and marked by each salesperson. The data is to be filed on SFDC or on the public folder in the office.

4.As one of the marketing activities, to find out the information regarding the event (wine tasting, & etc.). If required, to handle the application procedure to the event, and to create the list with additional information (such as the name of salesperson in charge, currently handled or not, company data in case of unidentified potential, & etc.). And, to update the list of all events saved in the public folder.

5.To encourage Axis2 utilization, to set up the reporting function with sorting out necessary factors, in accordance with the instruction by the salesperson in charge, which is to be a well customized tool based on the customer-oriented viewpoint.

6.To create presentation materials by Power Point and/or statistics by Excel for sales visit, on request basis.

7.To handle mass e-mail, such as LCL schedule to existing/potential customers and BAF rate. Regarding BAF, information source is each shipping line, which is to be gathered monthly. And regarding BAF ex Europe, it should be shared with export handling office in France. On the other hand, the list of above-mentioned delivery address is to be updated.

8.To coordinate promotional goods, such as calendar and notebook.

9.To create/modify company data on Flow in appropriate manners.

10. In case to participate in exhibition, to coordinate the preparation, the announcement letter, & etc.

 

To create statistics for measuring the transition

1. Checking customs’ announcement regarding import amount of beer, wine and spirits, to create the comparison sheet with the totally imported amount and the JFH handling amount.

2. To create the statics of the handling quantity per customer, which can be sort out by the salesperson in charge. And, to create the comparison sheet between the budget vs the actual, which is for managers’ reference.

3. To calculate gross margin achievement rate vs budget, which is added the data of the same month the year before.

 

Required Competencies

Key competencies

1.Good knowledge of freight forwarding and shipping, preferably import by ocean to Japan

2.Familiar with wine & spirits and / or beverage industry.

3.Detailed and accuracy oriented. 

4.Good knowledge of IT application, especially Excel and Power Point.

5.Well-developed written and oral communication skills.

6.Good analytical skills.

Previous Experience

1.1 – 3 years in freight forwarding.

2.Knowledge of the freight forwarding and wines & spirits industry.
