General Summary:

As an Account Manager, this position will play a crucial role in selling and maintaining our industry leading fuel purchasing and fleetcard solutions within our portfolio. This is a high impact, sales, and service position that requires a strategic and results oriented individual with a proven track record of success in the business-to-business environment. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Proactively identify and fix customer issues.
  • Assist with the customer service teams in fielding inbound calls and emails.
  • Identify upselling, cross-selling, and renewal opportunities.
  • Conduct periodic performance review meetings with clients, via a mixture of online and in-person visits.
  • Ability to be a subject-matter expert and a great team resource.
  • Strive for continual professional and personal development through training and coaching.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Develop and track key performance and sales call reporting on weekly, monthly, yearly basis
  • Analyze customer and sales data in order to determine growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for the completion of any special projects or the assignment of other duties as requested by Management.

Position Requirements:

  • Four-year degree preferred or equivalent experience in industry.
  • Strong focus on customer business and relationship management.
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized. Strong time and management skills.
  • Proven track record of proactively identifying and solving customer concerns.
  • Exceptional meeting management, presentation, and closing abilities.
  • Proven customer service skills and the ability to resolve problems and prevent customer dissatisfaction while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • The petroleum industry is rapidly changing; thus candidates must be comfortable with a fast-paced, opportunity filled work environment.
  • Build professional relationships with business partners, customers, and all levels of management.
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

Working Environment:

The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment. This position requires the ability to work under pressure and communicate with a diverse population including other employees, customers, vendors, etc. This position also requires prolonged periods of sitting in a regular seated position as well as the use of general office equipment including phones, printers, computers, (mouse, keyboard, etc.)
