As part of the Kito Crosby team, you will be supporting channel partners and end users around the world using Kito Crosby products in mission critical applications ranging from development of renewable power, space exploration, national defense, manufacturing and infrastructure development.


Job Summary

Perform a variety of maintenance tasks requiring knowledge CNC machines and multiple skilled trades. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery, electronic controls, heating systems, electrical systems, etc. Maintain and repair building and grounds as required. Complete tasks as required to minimize production equipment downtime.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential)

  1. Strong knowledge of CNC troubleshooting, maintenance and repair required.
  2. Inspect equipment. Makes necessary adjustments, documents test readings and repairs. Repairs or replaces essential equipment – both electrical and mechanical.*
  3. Read and understand prints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to determine methods and sequence for repairing machinery and equipment.*
  4. Perform inspection and preventative maintenance on production equipment utilizing PM programs and inspection checklists.*
  5. Align, fit, repair and assemble electrical/mechanical component parts using meters, gauges, power tools, hand tools, lifting devices and drawings.*
  6. Prepare parts sketches and writes work orders.*
  7. Review project instructions and equipment specifications to identify and plan necessary repairs.*
  8. Fabricate and/or modify new or used parts as required to make repairs according to established safety procedures.*
  9. Investigate equipment failures and malfunctions. Communicate with engineering, production team members, or technical experts to resolve intermittent malfunction or failure of equipment or systems.*
  10. Ensure proper installation of new equipment. Maintain preventative maintenance logs and equipment manuals. Document all testing of equipment and electronic systems.*
  11. Strick adherence to lock out/tag out procedures.*

Special Location/Position Requirements:

Job Specifications (Work Experience, Skills, Abilities, etc.)

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Maintenance experience in machining, welding, electronics and hydraulics.
  • Experience with CNC troubleshooting, maintenance and repair is required.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility for the uptime of all manufacturing equipment and systems

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Vocational school preferred.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

Daily exposure to shop conditions, which are variable depending on the task assigned, but are generally dirty. Is subject to shop noise. Involves extensive standing and walking. Skin and eyes are subject to drying and irritating fumes, vapors and solutions controlled to OSHA standards. Works both in and out of doors, normally indoors, with sometimes dusty or confining work areas when in the shop/lab.
