Summary:

Hui Huliau Technology Services is seeking a full-time remote HealthShare/HL7 SME to deliver integrated health solutions and focus on deploying high-volume interfaces and interoperability software using Cache Object Script and InterSystems HealthShare Platform.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and support HL7 messaging standards for healthcare data exchange and integration.
• Integrate systems and applications using HL7v2, HL7v3, CDA, X12, FHIR, and other standards.
• Administration and configuration of InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS platform.
• Develop customer-specific solutions based on the federal contract requirements.
• Implement patient privacy/confidentiality filters; implement terminology maps between SNOMED, ICD, LOINC code sets, and others.

Education and Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or other related fields.
• 5-10+ years of hands-on experience working with healthcare standards of HealthIT Interoperability and Interfaces, such as HL7, IHE, X12.
• Expertise with Custom Operations, Service Registry, and oAuth/SAML authorization via a delegated user.
• Expertise with IRIS, Unix, Apache, Ansible, HL7, REST.
• Experience with Fetch SDA, including outbound transformation to HL7.
• Experience working with various data formats, such as CCD/CDA, XML, and JSON.
• Experience working with InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, Ensemble, Cache, and ObjectScript.
• Experience with Web Services such as REST or SOAP.
• Experience with Automation and Scripting.
• Experience with SDLC tools and methodologies (including Agile) and modern source control systems such as Atlassian and GIT.
• Flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to quickly learn new development toolsets, methodologies, and processes.
• Strong FHIR knowledge: Proficiency in the FHIR standard, including various FHIR resources, profiles, extensions, and APIs a plus.

Additional Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
• Team-oriented contributor with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have reliable internet service for remote work.
• Background in the Department of Veterans Affairs and healthcare preferred.
