Pay Range

$80,000.00-$110,000.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Vonore, TN

Hours: 12 hour day shift- rotating

Position Overview:

The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor’s role is to safely direct day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure customers receive correct products on time. The Warehouse Supervisor drives operational excellence by establishing clear performance standards and streamlining warehouse processes to boost efficiency and eliminate errors. Champions customer satisfaction by leveraging SAP and JM systems to deliver seamless service, strengthen relationships, and elevate brand loyalty. is responsible for establishing operation standards to maximize efficiency and minimize errors as to create positive customer relations and high brand loyalty and to effectively utilize SAP and other JM systems to provide favorable customer experiences.

Your-Day-to-Day:

  • Coordinate orders and shipping through using the SAP system
  • Direct day-to-day operations of hourly warehouse personnel
  • Maintain a safe work environment and accountability for safe work practices
  • Conduct communication and safety meetings
  • Ensure packaging/dunnage materials are available to support outbound shipments
  • Oversees the billing process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company procedures and customer requirements.
  • Direct, review and evaluate staff according to JM established standards.
  • Approve vacation requests, timesheets while proactively coordinating coverage to maintain seamless operations. and make arrangements for coverage
  • Lead regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity across all warehouse locations
  • Participate in the annual physical inventory.
  • Support the JM Quality Management System in maintaining a Quality culture
  • Participate in annual ISO 9001:2015 registrar and internal audits.
  • Follow JM SOPs for shipping, receiving, and return processes
  • Ability to support operations at JM warehouse locations in Athens, TN. or Etowah, TN. to ensure workflow continuity if needed.
  • Operates forklift equipment as needed to support critical warehouse functions, including safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials

What You Bring to the Team:

  • High School/Technical School diploma with a minimum of 3 years warehouse and supervisory work experience
  • Strong supervisory skills (Solid)
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system to support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Expert SAP knowledge/direct use experience or other ERP system knowledge
  • Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to deliver clear and effective messaging.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (Solid)
  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Leads and manages a team of approximately 6 hourly employees, providing direction, allocating resources, and driving performance through evaluations, compensation reviews, hiring, and terminations.   • Minimal travel required (0 – 10 days per year)
  • Operates within a typical warehouse environment, with potential exposure to varying temperatures, high noise levels, airborne particles (dust, mist, gas, or fumes), moving machinery, elevated work areas, and periods of extensive walking or climbing. Work environment is typical of a warehouse facility. May be exposed to environmental conditions of cold, heat, high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, heights, dust/mist/gas/fumes, extensive walking or climbing, etc.
