A3 Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Automation Tester/Developer to join our dynamic team. The person in this role will be responsible for leading and performing Frontend, Backend and End to End tests on very complex projects with specialization in Backend and End to End Testing. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience working remotely. In this job you will:
  • Manage and coordinate multiple external teams responsible for automation delivery across products and projects.
  • Perform Automation testing in Quality Assurance and Software Testing of various business applications in Client/Server, Oracle/SQL Server, Unix, Mainframe as well Web-based applications.
  • Perform Test Automation Assessment to determine what functionality to automate.
  • Determine Level of Effort (LOE) on assigned Automation Testing Tasks to include all required Deliverables.
  • Analyzing Technical Requirements/ User Stories to include Interface, Business Rules, Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) and Batch Process related Requirements to understand the functionality and determine Testability of the requirements
  • Work with the Manual Test Teams to understand the functionality under test.
  • Create Automation Test Plan based on the output of the Automation Assessment.
  • Create and execute Automation Framework (defines the organization's way of doing things – a Single Standard).
  • Create and execute Automation Scripts based on Plan.
  • Develop and execute UI test automation suites utilizing Silktest, Test Studio, Selenium, and other automated test tools.
  • Develop and execute Backend test automation suite using SQL Scripts, Test Studio, Selenium, Java scripts and other Automation tools.
  • Create Data Driven Testing and/or Keyword Driven Framework, so that Test execution can be done repeatedly with many different data sets.
  • Execute automated testing in attended and unattended modes.
  • Communicate test results with Project Teams and Incorporate Automation test results into the SIT Exit Review Documentation and participate in SIT EXIT Review meetings.
Qualifications for the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Nine (9) years of experience leading and performing Frontend, Backend and End to End tests on very complex projects with specialization in Backend and End to End Testing.
  • Security + Certification (or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire).
  • Experience leading functional testing of projects implemented using SOAP UI/Web Services.
  • Excellent knowledge and practitioner of all the Testing Methods/Practices/Standards (Agile and DevOps) and a combination of all these methods and processes.
  • Experience with Functional/Integration/E2E/Backend testing of enterprise level releases/projects by managing tasks efficiently and mentoring testers.
  • Experience with Analyzing requirements related to complex systems and developing detailed test strategy/plans.
  • Experience conducting 508 Compliance Testing against PDFs and Online Screens to ensure documented UI Standards are met and perform and lead System Integration, Interface and End to End Testing.

  • Top Secret
Salary range:
  • The salary range of this position is $125,000 - $135,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
