Job Purpose:
Carry out requested purchases considering the Sourcing Process, including contractual management and total management of your sourcing category, based on the necessary compliance, assigning the prices and quality required by the business, previously aligned and approved by the requesting area.
Your tasks:
- Benchmarking prices in the market respecting Sourcing Strategy methodology
- Develop and refresh frequently the supplier base considering business needs
- Seek disruptive ways to operate freight
- Contract/Price list lifecycle Management
- Strategic Sourcing methodology application
- Management of global, regional and local KPIs for your category
- SRM (Supplier Relationship Management)
- QBR - Quarterly Business Review
- Interaction with other countries to share best practices and category strategy
- Occasional trips in OPS and DHL Brazil Bases
- Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and internal customers in scopeÂ
- Provide advice and support to internal customer with specsÂ
- Contribute to the successful cooperation between region / country and sourcing community
- Develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge
Your profile:
Bachelor’s degree Â
- +10 years of experience in Procurement, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain & Other related functionsÂ
- Solid background on stakeholder management
- Proficiency in English requiredÂ
- Proficiency in Spanish preferredÂ
- Great communication style and analytical skills
