Description:

ATA Services, Inc. is currently seeking to hire an Absentee Support clerk to work on a temporary assignment with the Bernalillo County Bureau of Elections for the 2025 Regular Local Election.

  • Pay Rate: $16.15 per hour with weekly pay
  • Start Date: SEPTEMBER 8, 2025
  • End Date: DECEMBER 19, 2025
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., hours and days will be extended as needed
  • Location: SE Albuquerque – Gibson and Broadway
  • Requirements: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Employees must be able to work various hours.

Job Duties:

  • Data entry of voters’ absentee applications, and any necessary data for absentee processing.
  • Working in phone bank consists of answering constituent calls and providing proper customer service.
  • Maintenance verification of data entry work.
  • Processing absentee applications.
  • Provide administrative support to the Absentee Board as needed.
  • Mail preparation consists of sorting, time stamping, and opening of mail.
  • Filing of all necessary items for proper retention.

Qualifications:

  • Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Able to work various hours, including evenings, weekends and overtime as needed.
  • 2+ years of administrative Assistant or Office Clerk experience.
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Significant experience with office management and daily operations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Good practical experience with MS Office.
  • Strong verbal skills, including communicating over the phone.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
