Summary of Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Admissions Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. In this key role, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the admissions process for new residents. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, and comfortable engaging with referral sources and healthcare partners.

Key Responsibilities

Review and assess referrals for potential admissions to ensure appropriate placement and timely transitions.

Round in local hospitals to build relationships with case managers, social workers, and discharge planners.

Act as a liaison between the facility and local hospitals to coordinate admissions and maintain strong referral pipelines.

Generate and increase referral activity through outreach and ongoing communication with hospital partners and other referral sources.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure readiness and a smooth admission process for incoming residents.

Maintain accurate documentation of referral and admissions activity in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Represent St. Anthony Health and Rehabilitation professionally and positively within the healthcare community.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in admissions, healthcare marketing, or a related role (preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and insurance processes is a plus.
  • Professional demeanor with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Shift: Variable and Flexible
Wage: 22-23$ an hour with bonus potential
