The Director of Distribution Sales is tasked with the strategic management of the North American Distribution network for the Commercial In-Home sector. This integral role is responsible for ensuring distributor partners achieve sales, unit, and product mix targets, while maintaining service levels across the Region and with Retailers. The incumbent is a critical stakeholder in optimizing market entry strategies to benefit Alliance Laundry Systems, enhancing brand value propositions in the process.
Responsibilities
Lead and achieve topline and Contribution Margin results for the Commercial In-Home Distribution sector.
Oversee relationships within the Commercial In-Home Distribution network, including associated sales teams.
Collaborate with National Buying Groups (including Nationwide and BrandSource) to enhance sales through effective membership engagement.
Monitor key performance indicators such as Sell-through rate, Product Mix, Inventory Health, Dryer Attachment, Market Penetration, and Retailer Net Promoter Score (NPS), and provide explanations for any performance variances.
Act as a pivotal member of the Speed Queen Residential Merchandising Council to co-develop merchandising and execution strategies across business segments.
Lead a select team of sales experts to stimulate demand and drive sales outcomes.
Manage budgeting, training initiatives, and event participation.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience strongly preferred
At least 4 years of proven success in leading sales professionals
Experience with two-step distribution in Major Residential Appliance brands
Proven track record in creating and executing a comprehensive merchandising plan for businesses with revenue exceeding $500M
