7:30am – 4:30pm (Monday – Friday)

Hours of work may vary dependent upon situational factors.
Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Recycling/Waste Reduction Specialist Sr, the Recycling Coordinator will support the University of Kentucky’s goal of becoming a zero-waste campus, one of the guiding principles in the Sustainability Strategic Plan.

The position will provide direct programmatic support, customer service, education and outreach. The Recycling Coordinator will assist with the management of program participation, conduct employee and student presentations and trainings, develop new waste diversion initiatives and campaigns, and build collaborative relationships with various University and community groups.
