Overview

What We’re Looking For
As an ISSO System Engineer at CyberPoint, you will support mission-critical cybersecurity operations within a classified environment. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical system engineering skills and information assurance expertise to maintain compliance, support system authorizations and manage security operations in alignment with DoD and IC standards. A strong understanding of RMF, vulnerability management and hands-on work with stakeholders across the IT/security landscape is essential.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and update hardware/software inventories and associated change logs.
  • Execute various Secure The Enterprise (STE) activities to support and strengthen system security posture.
  • Review XACTA notices and ensure relevant updates and responses are documented and actioned.
  • Complete and maintain SEAR audit log records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review and address POA&Ms for IAVAs, working toward timely remediation and compliance.
  • Coordinate with system owners and system administrators to ensure findings from scans are resolved and systems remain compliant.
  • Support System Security Plan (SSP) development, review and maintenance.
  • Address and document computer incident security reports.
  • Initiate and support system authorization and re-authorization efforts for both new and legacy systems.
  • Use LatteArt and other internal tools to support security documentation, tracking and compliance reporting.
This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • DoD 8570 compliance at IAM Level I or higher.
  • Demonstrated experience in three or more of the following areas:
    • Security tools and platforms
    • Secure hardware/software implementation
    • Communication protocols
    • Encryption techniques and tools
  • Solid understanding of IC and DoD cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with system owners, admins and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with XACTA, LatteArt, and other IC-specific cyber tools.
  • Direct experience supporting STE activities within a classified environment.
  • Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and system ATO processes.
  • Proven ability to remediate vulnerabilities from scan findings in coordination with technical teams.
  • Strong documentation, reporting and audit trail management skills.
