The Department of Chemistry at Villanova University invites applicants for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Physical Chemistry or closely related fields to teach in a B.S. (ACS certified for chemistry; ASBMB accredited for biochemistry) and M.S. granting department. The successful candidate will receive a start-up package and a pre-tenure sabbatical.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will contribute to the vibrant curriculum of the department at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, with courses in Physical Chemistry and in additional area(s) of specialty. The candidate will establish and maintain an active and productive research program, integrate undergraduate and graduate students into research, actively seek extramural funding, and effectively participate in departmental/university and professional service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants should have a Ph.D. and post-doctoral experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in Physical Chemistry and/or a closely related field. Applicants should show potential for success in teaching and research in a liberal arts setting.
