Samson, the worldwide leader in high performance cordage, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing Communications team. In this pivotal role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will create, coordinate, and manage all things digital. From captivating website content to innovative email marketing campaigns and engaging social media strategies, your expertise will shine as our resident digital marketing SME. In addition to digital projects, this role will also support various marketing and communication initiatives beyond the digital scope. This includes collaborating on traditional marketing efforts and contributing to marketing materials that align with our overall strategy. Your versatility will be essential in ensuring a cohesive brand presence across all channels while embodying our commitment to ethics, safety, and quality in all activities in accordance with Samson strategy and core values.


Who You Are:

  • Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, website CMS, marketing automation, social media platforms, Google Ads, and Google Analytics. Experience with Salesforce, HTML, and Adobe Creative Cloud (AI, PS, IND) is a plus!
  • Detail-oriented & organized with a sharp eye for detail and excellent time management skills, adept at juggling multiple projects.
  • Equipped with strong interpersonal skills and able to thrive in a collaborative environment, while building relationships across various departments and with external partners.
  • Creative and someone who thinks outside of the box! You're not just a marketer; you're an innovative storyteller ready to repurpose content in imaginative ways.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can anticipate needs and think ahead to drive initiatives.
  • A project management pro who can keep things on track while maintaining a sense of urgency for high-priority tasks.
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information.

What You'll Do:

  • Craft Engaging Campaigns: Develop and manage compelling digital content and campaigns that bring our brand to life on various platforms.
  • Reporting Rockstar: Track, analyze, and report metrics on digital and social media campaigns to our Marketing Manager, Sales Directors, and Marketing Product Managers providing insights that drive impact.
  • SEO & Analytics Whiz: collaborate with vendors to optimize our digital footprint, ensuring we're always on the cutting edge of SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Platform Administrator Extraordinaire: Oversee our website, CMS, Salesforce Account Engagement, LMS, and all video and social media channels, ensuring smooth operations and engaging content calendars.
  • Project Leadership: Work independently to manage projects effectively while fostering a collaborative spirit within the team.

What You Should Have:


Education:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; relevant advanced experience may substitute for some education.

Experience:

  • Minimum of four (4) years in marketing with a focus on digital and social media, showcasing career growth and creativity in your roles.

Compensation:

Targeted hiring range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Hiring rate will depend on qualifications and experience.


Samson has established wage scales for all of our positions, which are based on a minimum and maximum. The targeted hiring rate above is set to allow for employees' growth within the role. The full range for this position is $27.51 – 41.25 per hour.
