WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS AN INTERIOR DESIGNER:

As an Interior Designer, you'll play a key role in bringing clients' visions to life. Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with sales representatives and clients to define project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
  • Creating innovative design concepts and detailed space plans.
  • Developing furniture plans using AutoCAD and CET, including 3D models and elevations.
  • Generating accurate furniture specifications with 2020 Cap Technologies.
  • Establishing color schemes and selecting materials within budget constraints.
  • Expanding knowledge of contract office furniture lines and systems furniture.
  • Preparing installation plans and finish specifications.
  • Supporting the sales/project team with client meetings and detailed floor plans for presentations and installations.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in design, or relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Cap 2020, and CET
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Photoshop
  • Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs
  • Strong oral, presentation, written, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with people, action-oriented, and not intimidated by deadlines, vendors, or customers
  • Ability to interpret communicated customer needs and project requirements into competent design solutions
  • NCIDQ Certification is preferred
