Position Summary

Work closely with the Evansville Shop team and vendors to coordinate parts and materials to provide our Internal / External customers with first-class service / support.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

· Help Maintain a safe work environment for the Evansville shop and Field Mechanics.

· Establish & maintain Vendor relationships.

· Assist with repair estimates based on inspections and review with Shop Manager

· Establish necessary parts lists, research parts pricing options, provide Purchase Order to acquire parts, and review parts upon arrival for accuracy and quality.

· Open communication regarding Parts availability and costs to ensure schedules can be adjusted and communicated with customers as needed.

· Maintain software used to manage parts procurement.

· Assist with U.P.S in & out as needed.

· Manage parts/core returns.

· Assist Shop Mgr. with invoice review regarding parts as needed.

· Assist with ordering rental equipment as needed.

· Ability to evaluate a process and provide innovative and continuous improvement ideas.

· Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management.

Skills and Abilities

· Parts background with various types of marine, underground, and construction equipment.

· Interpersonal skills - ability to work well with others.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills

· Attention to detail.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality.

· Good problem-solving skills.

· Computer skills include the ability to operate spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (Word), e-mail (Outlook), and vendor software programs at a proficient level.

· Time management skills.

· Willingness to help the team as needed.

Education/Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent - Continued Education within equipment related industry is a plus.

· 3+ years of Parts Procurement is a plus.
