The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is recruiting a part-time non-tenure stream Associate Professor who would serve as principal investigator on a funded study that engages nursing home partners to co-create clinical experiences for students using Age-Friendly Health Systems’ 4Ms framework.
Duties would include: Ensuring the research protocol is scientifically sound; overseeing all research activities and tasks; reviewing and interpreting research data and outcomes; disseminating of research findings (e.g., manuscripts, abstracts); Mentoring faculty
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Professor – A) An earned doctorate in nursing or a field related to the area of scholarship within the School of Nursing is required. B) Evidence of a sustained and impactful program of scholarship that is nationally recognized. C) Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring, and contributing to a learning environment that values inclusivity. D) Evidence of or potential for leadership in the field.
Desired Qualifications: Experience with topics related to behavioral science to promote healthy lifestyle changes and adherence to treatment regiments in adults with chronic disorders.
