Eligibility:

The local internship program in Germany is a product of the group itself, run with a huge support from the Local HR. The main eligibility criteria for this internship is to be actively enrolled to university studies throughout the whole duration of the internship. You will need to provide documentation such as your ID, student visa and enrolment certificate to confirm your eligibility for the internship.

As an intern in our Global Controlling team, you'll play a crucial role in reporting key financial figures for the DHL Supply Chain division and driving our digital finance agenda forward. Your tasks will include preparing analyses and presentations for top management, maintaining and developing standard reports, and assisting in the design, development, and testing of financial Power BI reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the reporting of key financial figures for the DHL Supply Chain Division.
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses and presentations for divisional top management.
  • Maintain and enhance standard reporting processes.
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of financial reports using Power BI.
  • Contribute to the execution of our digital finance agenda.
  • Collaborate with various financial projects and tasks.
  • Utilize MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, in your daily work.

Key Stakeholders:

  • Divisional top management
  • International finance and controlling teams
  • Business Intelligence finance team members
  • Other internal departments requiring financial insights and reports

 This intern position demands the ability to work independently and manage your tasks effectively. You'll interact significantly with various stakeholders, requiring strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Skills required:

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enrolled student of economics or a comparable study program (ideally with focus on Controlling, Finance, Accounting)
