Commonwealth Rolled Products, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of Aluminum rolled products for the Automotive, Commercial, and Industrial markets. The Company operates its production facility in Lewisport, KY with the support of an Automotive Innovation Center for R&D, Sales and Field Service in Madison Heights (DET), and Inside Sales in the Cleveland, OH area.

Our production facility in Lewisport, KY is seeking to add a talented Storeroom Receiving Clerk to its team. This administrative position is responsible for efficient administration of all receipts and shipments for the Lewisport storeroom and off – site warehousing facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all Health and Safety programs, including taking personal ownership over daily actions that drive to a zero (0) incident culture; this includes improvement initiatives identified in the Company’s 15 Safety Elements, participation in paired safety observations, and a daily commitment to safe work practices.
• Live and champion the Commonwealth core values; Safety, Integrity, Customer Focus, Ownership, Excellence, and Teamwork.
• Ensure all material inbound receipts and outbound shipments are properly documented in our warehousing system and filed correctly.
• Maintain organization of receiving area, making sure it is functional and all received items exit the area correctly and in a timely manner.
• Resolve receipt discrepancies as needed by working with Accounting and Purchasing departments and providing vendor contact.
• Perform receipt rejection process and prepare all shipper notices.
• Coordinate the shipment of rebuilt items with transportation companies and assigned plant personnel.
• Finalize new stock item set ups as assigned.
• Verify Oracle systems reflect the input from other systems accurately.
• Support the supplier analysis segment of the IATF 16949 quality system by collecting and developing data on supplier performance documents.
• On occasion, may provide vacation relief coverage for Stores Supervisor.
• Other administrative support and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a storeroom setting or inventory control function
• Must have excellent organization and communication skills; ability to multitask and work with shifting priorities
• Excellent customer service skills and strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in accounting/ business is strongly preferred.
• Storeroom or inventory control experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Experience in Artist, Oracle or other ERP platforms is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with a unionized workforce is strongly preferred.
