JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Field Service Engineer-2 will provide on-site support for Chronic/Repeat Fault ATMs. This position will also be responsible for pulling daily reports and working with the Field teams to address ATM issues. Additionally, responsible for creating action plans to address and solve issues related to the Chronic ATM’s. This individual will be responsible for working with, and training, local staff on best practices. The Senior Field Service Engineer-2 will mainly focus on creating solutions to drive out repetitive calls, thus increasing overall efficiency of their assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Main focus will be to pay close attention to, and help drive out repeat/chronic ATM’s within the assigned territory.
  • Works closely with the Regional Operations Director/Field Service Manager for the territory to resolve chronic ATM’s. As well as improve overall efficiency of the territory.
  • Responsible for engaging FSE’s within the territory to help educate, and come up with best practices.
  • Implement new process to help local territory address complex/chronic issues.
  • Work with internal and external support departments required. Individual will be responsible to bridge the gap between field/Level 3 internal teams.
  • Pull daily ATM chronic activity reports.
  • Responsible for coming up with solutions, and action plans to help resolve chronic ATM units within the assigned territory.
  • Potential travel for work to areas outside your home geography where management deems necessary.
  • Perform preventive maintenance functions of an ATM including diagnostics, testing and cleaning.
  • Responsible for training local staff on best field practices. Proactively coaching team members to enrich knowledge in the field.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by supervisor or applicable NHA staff members.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • As a representative of NHA, provide an extraordinary experience to our customers meeting their service obligation and demands.
  • Maintain company property in good working conditions.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Responsible with company credit card.
  • Follow all security procedures.
  • As directed/needed:
    1. Provide technical assistance for FSE’s
    2. Train and mentor new hires
    3. Assist with field audit/site visits
    4. Perform random site/ATM inspections
    5. Provide support to chronic ATMs
    6. Performance review input of team members
    7. Take the lead on Chronic tickets and insure completion
  • Other duties as assigned


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • May require an Associate’s Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience, prior ATM experience preferred, but not required, or 4-6 years of experience in the field service
  • Have solid understanding of electronics and electro-mechanical equipment operation.
  • Ability to use analog and digital voltmeters.
  • Ability to use hand tools and carry heavy parts up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including beyond assigned shift with no notice when required.
  • Ability to travel to other areas of the country (30-40% travel may be required)
  • Ability to work all shifts, which may include weekend and holidays.
  • On-Call duty required for all FSE position levels. Compensation is provided for On-Call duty.
