Position Summary:

Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a US INDOPACOM Targeted Engagement Business Coordinator subject matter expert. In this role, you will establish and sustain coordination with Department of Defense functions across the Area of Responsibility (AOR) to include but not limited to U.S. Indo Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet U.S. Army Pacific (COMPACFLT USARPAC), Pacific Air force (PACAF), Special Operations Pacific (SOCPAC), Marine Corps Forces Pacific III Marine Expeditionary Force (MARFORPAC III MEF), and Joint U.S. Military Assistance Group (JUSMGPHL). You will travel to Korea, Japan, Guam, Australia, and other locations of interest in support of USINDOPACOM requirements analysis and identification of contract opportunities for coordination with the U.S. military forces activities and U.S. State Department.

This position requires 25% travel. Travel is scheduled in advance with notice.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Establish contact with representatives at leadership levels at each component across multiple disciplines that support Combatant Commander tasks and responsibilities that fall under the purview of the components.
  • Identify key engagement points for development of ANSER support.
  • Complete analysis and evaluation of support requirements by component to include:
    • Contract support to achieve individual objectives of each component.
    • Identification of tasked capabilities meeting mission essential tasks.
    • Understanding of each component mission as it relates to command and direct assigned forces; engage with allies and partners; strengthen sustainment networks; operationalize integration in order to provide trained and ready forces.
  • Develop, Identify and track business development lines of effort for each command and also critical timelines and milestones for ANSER success in the area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate development of white papers that address key lines of effort and how ANSER can meet the needs of the Commanders to advance Theater objectives, including:
    • The synchronization of operations, logistics and support activities
    • Investments to achieve ANSER campaign objectives over a three-year planning and execution horizon.
    • Positioning ANSER to support analysis of mission requirements and interdependencies.
    • Developing options for the generation, employment, and sustainment of forces; analyzing and providing information to inform decisions.
    • Communicating the Commander's decisions, direction, and guidance; and providing oversight of functional areas and programs to ensure execution of focus areas supporting those decisions.
  • Travel to Department of Defense installations to determine existing levels of contact support and capabilities as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
  • Minimum ten years demonstrated knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships in USINDOPACOM at both Joint and Combined command level.
  • Graduate of a U.S. Department of Defense war college (Army War College, Naval War College, Air University, Marine Corps War College, and the National Defense University).
  • Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (e.g. SharePoint, MSTeams) and the Microsoft Office suite (e.g. MSWord, Power Point, Excel, etc.)
  • Demonstrated capability to produce White Papers, Staff Study, Position and Talking papers.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of USINDOPACOM, USMARFORPAC, USPACAF, USARPAC and PACFLT operations in relation to Operations Plans/Concept Plans (OPLANs/CONPLANS) and exercise scenarios in the Pacific AOR.
  • Masters degree in an associated field of military studies and demonstrated application.  Will consider a bachelors degree with 20 or more additional years of work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 or more years' experience at component level in a planning activity for current and future operations.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Ability to work effectively with a high level of uncertainty and conflicting or limited information.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adjust targeted opportunities for contract support.
  • The ability to clearly present complicated concepts of engagement to a wide range of audiences.
  • Command experience at the MAJCOM, MACOM level or higher
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication.

Full Time Salary Range for this position for this position:
$160,000—$180,000 USD
