IDC is looking for a strategic, tech-savvy leader to join our team as the Senior Director of Strategic Programs. You'll be partnering closely with our technology team to shape solution architectures, evaluate vendors, and drive implementation of scalable, forward-looking systems. You must understand the business processes and operations deeply, think holistically about how we need to operate internally to ensure delivery to our customers, while speaking the language of technology to ensure strong, collaborative execution.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary business lead for critical, tech-enabled initiatives that drive internal processes, delivery and operational transformation
  • Collaborate closely with technology counterparts to shape end-to-end solution architectures that meet business needs
  • Drive business requirements definition, process design, and solution alignment across stakeholders
  • Evaluate and select technology vendors in partnership with Technology, Procurement, and business stakeholders
  • Ensure seamless integration of business and technology strategies to deliver value quickly and sustainably
  • Act as a translator between business and technology teams --ensuring mutual understanding, shared goals, and joint accountability
  • Track program performance, manage risks, and ensure delivery against scope, timeline, and budget
  • Champion a culture of partnership, agility, and continuous improvement across functions

Qualifications

  • 10 + years of experience in business, product, or technology-enabled transformation programs
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant technical/engineering degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, technology solutions, and solution architecture
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs with a mix of business and technology stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills—able to engage with senior leaders, technology owners, architects, and external vendors
  • Adept at managing ambiguity and bringing structure to complex challenges
  • Experience with vendor selection, RFPs, and technology implementation is a plus
  • A passion for operational excellence and a strategic mindset with a bias toward action.
  • Business fluency combined with technical literacy—you can bridge the gap between the "what" and the "how."
  • A collaborative spirit and a passion for delivering outcomes that matter to both customers and the business.
