The Senior Human Resources Analyst supports a wide range of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and organizational development initiatives. This role will focus on operational excellence, system and data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth and compliant HR practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

HR Systems, Reporting & Analytics

  • Process employee changes (new-hires, departures, job changes, etc.) through HR database and related systems.
  • Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to deliver ad hoc analytics and data-driven insights.
  • Responsible for legally required compliance reporting (EEO-1, AAP, etc.).
  • Maintain HR dashboards and reports to support business decisions and monitor workforce trends.
  • Maintain the HR section of the company’s intranet, ensuring content is relevant, up-to-date and accurate, as well as intuitive, and accessible.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Build and maintain SmartSheets or equivalent tools to track and coordinate new-hire onboarding, off-boarding, and other employee actions across functions.
  • Assist with offer letter creation and tracking for new-hires, as needed.
  • Create, submit and track staff change forms to document lifecycle events such as job changes, manager changes, and departures, assuring data integrity and documentation support.

Compensation, Benefits and Performance Management

  • Support the annual compensation planning cycle, including the processing of salary increases, bonus and equity awards.
  • Tracking and reporting on annual performance review cycles.
  • Assist HR business partners with performance management activities.
  • Responsible for the completion of annual salary surveys and the analysis of compensation data and trends.
  • Administer the rewards and recognition program.

People & Organization Development

  • Support learning and development efforts, including training logistics, communications, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate on a variety of organizational projects that support leadership development, performance enablement, and team effectiveness.
  • Other duties that may be assigned. 

Education & Licenses and Experience

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field and 8 or more years of broad-based HR experience, preferably in a biotech, life sciences, or high-growth environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, HR systems (e.g., ADP or similar), and collaborative tools like Smartsheet and/or SharePoint.
  • High attention to detail
