Position Summary:

ANSER is seeking a Human Resources and Administrative Senior Specialist to support a space acquisition program. In this role you will provide support including office management, personnel coordination, and human resources administration

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive-level administrative support including office management, personnel coordination, and human resources administration.
  • Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings and events, arrange travel logistics (including booking and voucher reimbursement), and support overall office operations.
  • Coordinate and maintain personnel records, performance appraisals, and civilian HR documentation, including requests for personnel actions and position justifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all civilian HR functions, offering expertise on relevant procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Assist with civilian manpower planning, requisitions, security waivers, Core Personnel Documents, and special requests such as By-Name or Superior Qualification packages.
  • Track and manage the processing of military and civilian awards, including timelines, nominations, board facilitation, and presentation logistics.
  • Facilitate internal task tracking and coordination, including interpreting and resolving requests, inquiries, and task assignments using systems such as Task Management Tool (TMT).
  • Review and coordinate performance reports and acquisition-related documents to ensure policy compliance and completeness.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support internal meetings and reviews by preparing agendas, capturing minutes and action items, and distributing documentation.
  • Develop, maintain, and transition standard functional databases and tools to support administrative and HR operations.
  • Draft and edit internal communications, speeches, reports, and other written materials, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational messaging.
  • Provide multimedia and editorial support for presentations, reports, and communications, including visual layout and graphics preparation.
  • Maintain and update internal schedules and project timelines using standard Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Support internal and external engagement coordination, ensuring information is effectively organized and disseminated to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and prepare statistical and analytical reports to inform leadership decisions and support mission objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • 15 + years experience in military or federal employee human resources management and administrative operations.
  • 5 years experience supporting Air Force Programs
  • Experience with Civilian Human Resource Management, Military & Civilian Manpower Management, and Information Management/Operations Support.
  • Prior experience supporting research and development center operations, or profit/non-profit government support/development contracts.
  • High proficiency with MS Office Suite products and tools.

  • Ability to communicate succinctly across multiple levels within an organization.
