The Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University seeks a dynamic Research Coordinator to join its growing team. The Research Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will include conducting scholarly research, critically reviewing existing literature, assisting in the production of workstream written and multimedia outputs, participating in the planning and implementation of multi-stakeholder events, and collaborating with staff and scholars to further the goals of an emerging suite of AI workstreams focusing on urgent topics of technical policy. The Research Coordinator will join the Berkman Klein Center’s world-class community of scholars and practitioners, and work in close collaboration with the Center’s team of staff, fellows, and faculty to advance a range of interdisciplinary, cutting-edge programs and research related to the study and development of Internet & society. As Research Coordinator, you will:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience (including in an educational context) in research, analytical or related field.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for people who are/have:
Appointment End Date: This is a term appointment currently expected to extend to June 30, 2026 with potential for renewal, subject to departmental funding and need.
Standard Hours/Schedule: 35 hours per week, Full-Time, M-F. Based on the changing needs of the Center, the Research Coordinator may be called upon for other tasks at short notice. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, though not with regularity.

Work Format Details
This is a position that is based at a Harvard campus location with some remote work options available. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
