We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Glenmarie, Malaysia.
Job Purpose:
- Under supervision support facilities management activities to create suitable working environment for employees and their activities and ensure general upkeep and maintenance of buildings so that they meet health and safety standards in line with overall business plans and objectives, Group guidelines and policies
- Skilled in mechanical/electrical operations of facilities. Perform maintenance and repairs to standard facility equipment.
- Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure maintenance & repairs are conducted timely.
Your tasks:
- Skilled in mechanical/electrical operations of facilities.
- Perform maintenance and repairs to standard facility equipment.
- Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure maintenance & repairs are conducted timely.
- Surveying buildings and repair mechanical systems
- Performing maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems
- Assisting in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
- Under supervision support facilities management plans and activities to create suitable working environment for employees and their activities and ensure general upkeep and maintenance of buildings so that they meet health and safety standards in line with overall business plans and objectives, Group guidelines and policies
- Classify basic information to prepare documents to put out tenders for contractors and manage the work of contractors
- Support general admin tasks related to services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
- Comply with established procedures to ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation to keep staff safe
- Support general admin tasks related to allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing of current premises
- To monitor the works done by other vendors and provide necessary report.
- To provide technical support when necessary such as doing calibrations for wiring works and etc.
- To maintain and update operation manual
- To assist in reviewing building handover documents.
Competent Chargeman
- Review and evaluate systems (Electrical system) at the property
- Troubleshoot and rectify on control wiring, instrument wirings and electrical components
- Responsible for coordinating and communicating to relevant parties on all scheduled electrical installation, periodic calibration and shut-down maintenance
- EC liaisons point of contact
- EC competent person for monthly submission for site inspection and license renewal
- Review and evaluate systems (Electrical system) at the property on monthly basis.
Your profile:
Education Level:
- Vocational/Specialized/Technical/Certification
- Desirable Facility Management/Real Estate Certificate
Experience Level:
- 5-10 years of relevant technical operation expertise
Education Level:
- Obtain Competent Chargeman of A4 Certificate
