JOB TITLE: Lead Recruiter

POSITION NUMBER: 1208- R3946 -LR

POSITION LOCATION: Remote and onsite

ANTICIPATED START DATE: 2-6 weeks after contract award

TRAVEL: Required up to 18 % as needed


ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other State, Federal, and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc. and will be assigned to the Fairfax County Health Department. The Lead Recruiter is expected to work remotely with occasional travel to Health Department Facilities as needed.


SCOPE OF WORK

The Lead Recruiter is responsible for developing candidate pipelines, sourcing qualified personnel, and ensuring candidates meet County-specified qualifications for each labor category.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source candidates from multiple platforms and networks.
  • Conduct initial interviews and verify qualifications.
  • Coordinate background checks, licensure, and credential verification.
  • Maintain a candidate database for rapid deployment.
  • Collaborate with PM/DPM on urgent staffing requests.
  • Onboard candidates per established procedures.
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.


Credentials: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP preferred.


Experience: Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare or public health.


Clearance: Ability to pass Fairfax County criminal background check and Virginia/FBI National Criminal History Background Check.


REQUIREMENT: Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
