ANTICIPATED START DATE: 2-6 weeks after contract award

TRAVEL: Required up to 30% as needed

ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other State, Federal, and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc. and will be assigned to the Fairfax County Health Department. The Project Manager is expected to work remotely with travel to Health Department Facilities as needed.

SCOPE OF WORK

The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between the Contractor and Fairfax County, overseeing all contractual, operational, and staffing activities. This position ensures the timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of all task orders under the Public Health Staff Augmentation contract.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the single point of contact for the County Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and program managers.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of personnel to meet County requirements.
• Monitor task order performance, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with County leadership to forecast staffing needs.
• Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with County, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead contract reporting, metrics tracking, and process improvement initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

Education: Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of progressive project management experience, including 5 years in public health or healthcare staffing.
• Proven record managing large multi-task contracts for federal, state, or local government.

Preferred:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Clearance:

Ability to pass Fairfax County criminal background check and Virginia/FBI National Criminal History Background Check.

REQUIREMENT: Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.
